Here you will find information on how to make payments to experts and payment security.

How do I pay an expert?

All Throttl packages are prepaid. You'll receive an invoice from Throttl for your chosen package.

Pay the invoice using your selected payment method.

Throttl will release payment to the expert upon project completion or on the due date for monthly recurring packages.


Does the expert Invoice me at the end of a job?

No, experts won't send you invoices. Throttl automatically generates a Recipient Created Tax Invoice (RCTI) for experts, eliminating the need for you to take any action.


Where can I download my tax invoices from?

  1. Log into your dashboard.

  2. Click on INVOICES.

  3. Choose the invoice you want to download.

What currency are the prices displayed in?

The prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD).


Is there a merchant processing fee charged on purchases made through the Throttl dashboard?

Yes, there's a 1.75% merchant processing fee for purchases made through the Throttl dashboard. You'll be notified of this fee during the transaction and need to approve it by selecting the checkbox.


What layers of payment security does Throttl offer?

Throttl ensures robust payment security:

  • Throttl's payment gateway is a validated Level 1 PCI DSS-compliant service provider.

  • Throttl doesn't store any customer payment information directly on its services or in its offices.

  • The Throttl platform integrates with the 3D secure protocol for added security.

How do you manage my credit card data?

Throttl never records, retains, or stores credit card details on its platform or servers. Instead, it uses a secure international payment gateway to safeguard credit card information on behalf of its customers.
